Which exam should I pick: Goethe, telc, or TestDaF?

Studying at a German university? TestDaF. Working in Germany or the EU? telc. Need a globally recognised certificate or a CV line? Goethe. We'll also recommend one after the diagnostic.
How long do I need to prepare?

Most learners go from B1 → B2 in about 12 weeks with ~25 minutes a day. C1 takes longer — plan for 16-20 weeks. The app adjusts your plan automatically based on your diagnostic and pace.
Is this better than a prep course or a tutor?

It's cheaper, more consistent, and adapts to your weak spots in real time. AI feedback on writing and speaking is calibrated against real exam rubrics, so you get examiner-level guidance at a fraction of the cost.
Do you prepare for C1 and C2?

Yes — B1 through C1 are fully covered for Goethe and telc. TestDaF is only offered at the B2/C1 range natively. C2 (Goethe-Zertifikat C2 GDS) is in closed beta — join the waitlist from your dashboard.
Can I use prepdaf on my phone?

Will my employer or university recognise prepdaf?

We're a preparation tool — not a certifier. Your actual certificate comes from Goethe-Institut, telc gGmbH, or the TestDaF-Institut. prepdaf gets you ready to sit and pass the official exam.
