Which exam should I pick: Goethe, telc, or TestDaF?

Studying at a German university? TestDaF or Goethe C1 — TestDaF Lesen is covered today, with the remaining modules in development. Working in Germany or the EU? telc. Need a globally recognised certificate or a CV line? Goethe. We'll also recommend one after the diagnostic.

How long do I need to prepare?

Most learners go from B1 → B2 in about 12 weeks with ~25 minutes a day. C1 takes longer — plan for 16-20 weeks. The app adjusts your plan automatically based on your diagnostic and pace.

Which exams and levels does prepdaf cover?

Goethe-Zertifikat A1 to C1 is fully covered — Lesen, Hören, Schreiben and Sprechen at every level. telc Deutsch is covered at A2, B1 and B2, including Sprachbausteine at B1 and B2. TestDaF covers Lesen, with Hören, Schreiben and Sprechen in development. Goethe-Zertifikat C2 is in development — join the waitlist from your dashboard.
