Which exam should I pick: Goethe, telc, or TestDaF?

For a German university, take TestDaF or Goethe C1. TestDaF Lesen and Hören are covered today, and Schreiben and Sprechen are in development. For work in Germany or the EU, take telc. For a globally recognised certificate or a line on your CV, take Goethe. We'll also recommend one after the diagnostic.

How long do I need to prepare?

As a rough guide, B1 to B2 takes about 12 weeks at about 30 minutes a day. Plan 16-20 weeks for C1. The app adjusts your plan to your diagnostic and your pace.

Can I use PrepDaF on my phone?

Yes. The web app works on desktop, tablet and phone. Native iOS and Android apps are coming soon.

If you are a consumer, you have the following right of withdrawal.

Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day the contract is concluded. A subscription with a free trial is concluded when you start the trial.

of your decision to withdraw from this contract by a clear statement (for example, an email). The quickest way is the withdrawal function in your account, under Subscription in the app's settings, where you withdraw with one click and receive a confirmation straight away. You may also use the model withdrawal form below, but it is not obligatory.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your notice of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.

If you requested to begin the performance of services during the withdrawal period, you shall pay us an amount which is in proportion to what has been provided until you have communicated to us your withdrawal from this contract, in comparison with the full coverage of the contract. Days of a free trial are not charged.

Cancelling instead

Withdrawal ends a new contract and refunds you. Outside the 14 days, or if you simply want your plan to stop renewing, you can cancel it at any time in the app's settings; your plan then ends with the term already paid.
